Course Description:

This course is useful and pre-requisite for QC & NDT personnel who intend to write CAN/CGSB-48.9712 RT, UT & ET exam. It is also useful for Manufacturing or Maintenance Supervisor, Welder & other personnel.
Course provides fundamental understanding of Basic Math Assessment for Radiography Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, Eddy Current Testing as it applies to these NDT methods. This knowledge is very useful for CGSB Level-2/3 certification exam.

Course and examination can be administered on-line.

Course Description:

1)     Basic Mathematical Calculation principles.

2)     Introduction to Basic Symbols used in NDT.

3)     Operation of Scientific Calculator & Counter-check solutions.

4)     Concept of Solutions for Algebraic Equations & BEDMAS.

 5)   Basics of Trigonometry, Sin, Cos, Tan functions.

6)    Solutions for Practical Problem related to Radiography Testing, Ultrasonic Testing & Eddy Current Testing
