Harman NDE Courses meet Canadian General Standards Board CAN/CGSB-48.9712-2005 , Standard for Qualification and Certification of Non-Destructive Testing Personnel.
Natural Resources Canada (NRCan) is the NDT Certifying Agency for CGSB examination. NDT certifying Agency also serves as the qualifying body for the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission's Exposure Device Operator (CNSC EDO) examination.
For CGSB & CNSC EDO exam one must register directly with NDT Certifying Agency at NRCan.
The NDT Level-1 & 2 examination comprises of Written and Practical Examination. Written exam is a multiple choice question and has General, EMC (Engineering Material & Component, Multi-Sector) and Specific sections. Practical exam has General and EMC (Multi Sector) sections.
The qualification certificate is normally valid for a period of three years for Level-1 & 2 and five years for Level-3.
